STUDIO POLICIES Registration Fee: $50.00 per new student 10% discount for additional siblings Tuition: Tuition is based on the number of hours dancing per month. While the number of hours may vary per month due to holidays and fewer numbers of days in a month, monthly payments for the term are divided equally for your convenience. Tuition is due on the 1st of each month and will be considered late after the 10th. September tuition should be paid prior to the start of the dance season. Tuition payment options: Tuition can be paid by cash, check (payable to Center Stage), credit or debit card. Checks can be mailed to: Center Stage Dance 2600 N Park St. Brenham TX 77833 or placed in the drop box at the Bellville studio located to the left of our front door. Online payments can be made through our website. To set up Auto Payments you will need to fill out our Autopay Form. Late Fees: A $10.00 late fee will be automatically applied to all accounts with an outstanding tuition balance on the 15 th of the month. It is your responsibility to maintain your tuition balance. You may inquire at our front desk during school hours. Returned Checks: There will be a $25.00 charge applied to your account for each returned check. Missed Classes: Missed classes, for whatever reason, are to be made up in your current level or below. You must schedule at the front desk to ensure openings are available. Students should sign in at the front desk the day of make-up. Dropping Class(es): If you wish to drop a class or withdraw from the school for any reason, you must submit a written note to the front desk prior to the posting of the next month’s tuition. If a student wishes to return the same season they may do so only if there is available space in the class. Conferences: Parents may schedule a conference with the office administrator, artistic director or faculty by contacting the front desk. Class Levels: Generally, we place students in a class by age. If a student needs to be in a different class, a teacher or office assistant will notify you. Levels break down by age as follows: Pre – ages 3-5 Level 1 – Kindergarten and First Grade Level 2 – Second and Third Grade Level 3 – Fourth Grade and Up Level 4 – Advanced Dancers (will be placed by instructors) Class Attire: All students should arrive on time and are asked to have their hair pulled away from their face. A bun is preferred for ballet. The following dress codes apply:
Arrivals and Departures: Students should remain in the lobby until their ride arrives. For safety we ask that parents come into the studio to pick up younger students. Parking spaces are limited, please be respectful of our residential neighbors and nearby driveways. General Information: Students will study in the placed levels for a full school year. If at any time teachers feel it necessary to move a student parents will be notified. Center Stage follows the Bellville ISD and Brenham ISD school calendars. Center Stage has a week of demonstration classes in December and a costume studio recital at the end of May. Information on these events along with costume assignments and costs will be provided as it becomes available as the year progresses. IMPORTANT AGREEMENT: Parents agree not to hold Amber Blezinger, Center Stage or any of its agents, employees or representatives liable for any injuries sustained or illnesses contracted while a student is at the studio. |
