2024 Spring Recital
Mark your calendars for our big spring recital, it will be on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at the Brenham High School.
The recital is a very important part of the dance season. It’s a chance to shine in front of family and friends that the students anticipate with nervous excitement. The recital offers our students a professionally directed performance that allows them to present to their family and friends the results of this year’s hard work, dedication, and progress. A big part of the dance training process includes learning through performance. The experience helps build self-esteem, self-assurance, and contributes to a sense of confidence. The rehearsal process is a tremendous learning experience as well. It helps the children develop retention skills, and by working with their classmates on a group performance, they learn the positive aspects of working as a team to create the best end result. Commitment, dedication and information is key to making this a happy recital!
We have created this handbook in an effort to clarify what we expect from parents, students, teachers, and everyone involved in terms of responsibility to the annual recital and the studio. Here is the link to the recital handbook, please refer back to this for recital information. This is a live document so we will update it with any changes that might come up! https://docs.google.com/document/d/13F3YOcOLdBCWxdegZgFGq0S-BxAUhAMk7HjLBM1zjZg/edit?usp=sharing
